Word of fair prices and honest service travels farther than some might expect, and that's how Barren County patients keep finding The Post. This licensed medical cannabis dispensary near Barren County stocks a wide selection of lab-tested flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates at everyday low prices, so there's usually something that fits, no matter what a patient's looking for. Consultants take the time necessary to answer product and dosing questions, and self-service kiosks handle checkout fast when you’re ready to head out. Every purchase also builds loyalty points that never reset, so the value keeps compounding the longer someone sticks with us.
Long before The Post existed, this Beaver Dam building spent decades as the town's post office, commissioned under President Kennedy's administration. Patients coming from Barren County for the first time often notice the building's history before anything else, a small detail that hints at the kind of place they've just walked into.
That history shows up less in what's said when you get here and more in how a visit unfolds. Nobody feels rushed toward a decision, and nobody feels held up if they'd rather move quickly. Consultants stay close by to answer questions without hovering, while self-service kiosks stay ready for anyone who'd rather move straight to a quick checkout.
Barren County dispensary shoppers who keep coming back tend to mention that same balance: never too slow, never too rushed, no matter how many times they've come through the door.
Range and depth define what's on the shelf: our flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates categories each come in enough variety to satisfy different needs and preferences, and two names in particular, Darkhorse in flower and Alchemy in vapes, have built loyal followings among regulars. Curious about something new? Consultants are glad to talk through your options and explain what sets one format, brand, or strain apart from another.
Sourcing gets just as much attention here. Nothing on the menu traces back to an in-house grow or a private-label shortcut; every product comes to The Post from a licensed Kentucky cultivator or processor, and first clears lab testing for potency and purity. That standard is a big part of what makes this a dispensary Barren County patients trust and one that’s always worth the trip.
And once you’re ready to move on with your day, our self-service kiosks can get you in and out at your own pace. We accept credit, debit, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and an on-site ATM is available for anyone who needs it.
The longer you're a regular, the more this dispensary near Barren County gives back through points, specials, and a discount reserved for those who've served.
South-central Kentucky's cave country runs right through Barren County, and Glasgow, the county seat, adds Civil War history and a growing downtown food scene to the picture. Before or after a visit to The Post, consider stopping by any of these local favorites close to home.
Selection and affordability often get patients through the door the first time, but it’s the staff that brings them back. Reviews consistently point to our consultants, who take real questions seriously, and to products that have been lab-tested before ever reaching the shelf. That reputation, along with a genuine investment in our Kentucky community, is what makes the trip worth repeating.

Kentucky law allows registered patients to purchase and possess up to a 30-day supply of medical cannabis at a time. By law, a 30-day supply is defined as up to 112 grams of flower (about 4 ounces), 28 grams of concentrate, or 3,900 mg of THC in edibles, oils, or other products. Dispensaries will ensure you do not exceed these amounts.
If you’re an out-of-state visiting patient with a Kentucky temporary card, your limit is a 10-day supply (about 37.5 g of flower, 9.5 g of concentrate, or 1,300 mg of THC in products) per purchase period. Caregivers may purchase a 30-day supply for each patient under their care. Ointments, soaps, lotions, and other topical agents do not count toward the 30-day or 10-day supply limits.
No. State and local sales taxes don't apply to medical cannabis in Kentucky, so the price you see on the shelf is the total you'll pay at checkout.
The Post accepts credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and we also have an on-site ATM available if needed.
Our selection includes a full range of state-approved medical cannabis products, including cannabis flower, edibles, oils, tinctures, vape cartridges, and concentrates, all tested and properly packaged. Kentucky law limits flower to vaporization use only, so it's labeled "not for smoking," since smoking cannabis isn't permitted under state law. Edibles, tinctures, and oils offer smoke-free alternatives, and vape products are limited to cardholders 18 and older. Our consultants will be glad to walk you through any category in more detail.
State law limits consumption to private property, typically your own home. Public use isn't permitted anywhere in Kentucky, including dispensary property, so plan to wait until you're back at home to use your medicine

Glasgow serves as the county seat, but patients come in from every direction: Cave City, Park City, Hiseville, Lucas, and Temple Hill all send their share of regulars. Neighboring Allen County and Warren County add to that number too, each contributing patients who've made visiting The Post in Beaver Dam part of their routine.
A dispensary earns loyalty like that one visit at a time, not through a single feature or promise. Browse our menu online, then come find out firsthand what's kept them coming back; we'd love to welcome you!
