Getting to The Post from Livermore

Livermore sits about 19 miles from The Post, and the drive runs roughly 27 minutes door to door.

  • Head toward Lawrence St, then turn onto 7th St/Henton St before picking up KY-136 E/Hartford Pike.
  • Stay on KY-136 East for most of the trip, as it carries you toward Hartford.
  • Turn onto US-231 South for the final stretch, passing Dairy Queen Grill & Chill on your right, and The Post will be just ahead on the right in Beaver Dam.

Small-Town Roots Welcome Livermore Patients Home

Many first-time visitors don't expect to find a piece of local history waiting at a cannabis dispensary. The Post sits inside a former U.S. post office in Beaver Dam, commissioned during President Kennedy's time in office, and that heritage still shapes the calm, neighborly feel today. For Livermore dispensary shoppers used to small-town businesses that know their regulars by name, that same spirit carries through every visit here at The Post.

Inside the shop, fast self-service kiosks keep things moving, while staff stay close enough to help without ever hovering. There's no long wait to stand through and no pressure to rush a decision, whether you're navigating the medical card process for the first time or you already know exactly what you're after.

Plenty of patients build their trip around a stop at The Post, whether that means an afternoon exploring the confluence of the Green and Rough Rivers back home or simply running errands nearby on the way through. However your day unfolds, everyday low pricing and an ongoing loyalty program make every visit here add up to real savings over time.

Inside Your Dispensary Near Livermore: What The Post Carries

Our shelves stay stocked with flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates, giving you plenty of ways to go depending on what you're after. Darkhorse remains a favorite among flower fans, and Alchemy cartridges give vape shoppers another solid option. What's available shifts from visit to visit, so it's always worth asking our staff what just came in.

Nothing sold here is grown in-house, and The Post doesn't carry a private label of its own. Instead, everything comes straight from licensed cultivators and processors across Kentucky, meaning every product is properly lab-tested before it reaches the shelf. That sourcing model is part of what makes this Livermore dispensary destination so reliable, no matter which category you're shopping.

Checkout isn’t complicated, either. The Post accepts credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and an on-site ATM is available if you need it.

Real Savings for Livermore Patients, Visit After Visit

Between a loyalty program that builds with every visit and specials that change often, finding a dispensary near Livermore that treats you right doesn't have to mean paying full price.

Loyalty Rewards

Daily & Weekly Specials

Specials rotate frequently and land directly in your inbox or text messages, so you'll already know what's discounted before you ever step through the door.

Veteran & Military Discount

A dedicated discount is available for veterans and active-duty service members, a small gesture of thanks for what they've given.

Explore Local Favorites in Livermore, Kentucky

Whether you've called Livermore home for years or you're just getting to know the area, the riverside scenery and small-town charm are worth carving out time for. Here are a few favorite stops around town to check out before or after a visit to The Post.

Riverfront Park

Sitting right where the Green and Rough Rivers meet, this park offers close to half a mile of water frontage and a front-row view of the historic Livermore Bridge, once featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not. Watch tugboats and barges move through the confluence, or settle in along the riverbank to take in the scenery at your own pace.

Rough River Nature Trail

This trail follows a figure-eight path through several acres of river bottoms just off the Rough River, passing a butterfly and hummingbird garden near the trailhead. Keep an eye out for deer, wood ducks, and great blue herons as you wind through the woods.

Lanes Raceway

Housed inside a former auto parts store on Henton Street, this local spot combines slot car racing, RC drag racing, pinball, and arcade games under one roof. Lanes Raceway is a fun detour for anyone looking to unwind with some friendly competition.

Two Rivers Historic Overlook

Once a railroad bridge that carried trains from 1872 to 1984, this converted overlook now offers visitors a staircase climb to a platform with sweeping views of the river confluence. Bronze markers along the way share the story of the old railroad line and the record flood levels from 1937.

Moon River Coffee Bar

Known around McLean County for its espresso drinks, smoothies, and locally roasted coffee, Moon River now operates primarily as a mobile trailer rather than a storefront. Checking their social media for the week's schedule is the best way to catch them parked nearby.

La Cabaña Mexican Restaurant

This Henton Street staple serves up Mexican fare with hours stretching late into the evening most nights of the week. It's a solid option whether you're after a sit-down meal or takeout on your way through town.

Bring any valid, government-issued photo ID, including out-of-state IDs, along with your medical marijuana card. Temporary or expired IDs won't work at checkout.

Yes, you’ll need a valid medical cannabis card for every purchase. If you're still working through the registration process, staff can point you toward resources to help you get started with confidence.

Registered patients can purchase and possess up to a 30-day supply of medical cannabis at a time. By law, a 30-day supply is defined as up to 112 grams of flower (about 4 ounces), 28 grams of concentrate, or 3,900 mg of THC in edibles, oils, or other products. Dispensaries will ensure you do not exceed these amounts.

If you’re an out-of-state visiting patient with a Kentucky temporary card, your limit is a 10-day supply (about 37.5 g of flower, 9.5 g of concentrate, or 1,300 mg of THC in products) per purchase period. Caregivers may purchase a 30-day supply for each patient under their care. Ointments, soaps, lotions, and other topical agents do not count towards the 30-day or 10-day supply limits.

No. Medical cannabis in Kentucky isn't subject to state or local sales tax, so the price you see is what you'll actually pay.

The Post accepts credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, with an ATM available on-site for added convenience.

We offer a wide selection of state-approved medical cannabis products, including cannabis flower, edibles, oils, tinctures, vape cartridges, and concentrates. All products are tested and properly packaged. Keep in mind Kentucky’s regulations: flower is available for vaporization use only – it will be labeled “not for smoking,” because smoking cannabis is not allowed under state law. Edibles, tinctures, and oils provide smoke-free consumption options, and vape products are available (but only to cardholders 18 or older per Kentucky law). Our knowledgeable consultants can explain each product type and help you choose the best option for your needs.

Kentucky law limits use to private property, typically your own home. Public consumption isn't permitted anywhere in the state, including on dispensary property, so plan to wait until you're back at home to use your cannabis products.

Not yet. The Post doesn't currently offer delivery, but you can place an order online for express in-store pickup to save time.

We do. Look for weekly and daily specials sent through text and email, plus a dedicated veteran and military discount and a loyalty program that rewards every visit.
