The Post has built a loyal following well beyond our own backyard, and Marshall County patients make up a significant part of that reach. What draws them in is an experience that makes the drive feel worthwhile. Our consultants are ready to answer questions and walk through product options whenever a patient wants that extra guidance. As a licensed medical cannabis dispensary near Marshall County, that same consistent care extends to our shelves, stocking lab-tested flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates at everyday low prices. Loyalty rewards build with every purchase, too, so repeat visits pay off over time.
Cannabis retail wasn't the original plan for this building. Beaver Dam's residents once lined up here for stamps and packages when it operated as the town's post office under a commission dating back to President Kennedy. That same sense of civic duty still shapes how patients are treated here today at The Post Dispensary.
Nobody gets rushed through a visit. Product questions, dosing concerns, and medical card questions all get real attention for as long as a patient needs. Our speedy self-service kiosks step in only once someone's ready to finish up and check out on their own.
Marshall County dispensary shoppers who've made this a regular stop often point to that flexible pace as the reason they keep coming back. It doesn't shift based on how many times someone's walked through the door, with a genuine welcome greeting them every time, too.
Range matters here, and the shelves reflect that: flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates cover a spread wide enough for most patients to find their fit. Darkhorse is the name that comes up most often among flower shoppers, and Alchemy holds a similar standing in the vape category. Meanwhile, our team is always glad to point you to something different if you're curious about another brand, format, or strain.
None of it comes from an in-house grow, and there's no private-label shortcut here, either. Every product on our shelves comes from licensed Kentucky cultivators and processors, and each one clears lab testing before it reaches a patient. For anyone who's made this their go-to dispensary near Marshall County, that kind of accountability usually matters as much as the selection itself.
Payment shouldn't be the hard part of any visit, so we keep it flexible: The Post accepts credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and we have an on-site ATM available for anyone who needs it.
At The Post, loyalty perks add up with every purchase, and the rotating deals we offer mean you never have to pay full price at this dispensary near Marshall County.
Marshall County wraps around the northern end of Kentucky Lake, giving it a mix of lakefront recreation, small-town entertainment, and a handful of newer additions to its food and drink scene. Here are a few of our favorite spots to build into your day, whether before or after a visit to The Post.
Fair pricing sets the tone here, backed by a lineup broad enough to cover most preferences and consultants willing to listen first, then share their expertise whenever a patient wants guidance. Every product on the shelf arrives lab-tested from licensed Kentucky sources, so patients get more than a good price; they get something they can trust. That combination, paired with genuine pride in serving our Kentucky community, is what keeps patients from across the state coming back to The Post.

Yes, we require ID for every visit. The Post accepts any valid, government-issued photo ID, including out-of-state IDs, along with your medical cannabis card. However, temporary or expired IDs won’t work.
Yes, on both counts. A valid medical cannabis card is required for every purchase. Patients still working through the registration process are welcome to ask our staff for guidance on next steps. We’ll be happy to provide resources to help you move forward with confidence.
There is. In Kentucky, registered patients can purchase and possess up to a 30-day supply of medical cannabis at a time. By law, a 30-day supply is defined as up to 112 grams of flower (about 4 ounces), 28 grams of concentrate, or 3,900 mg of THC in edibles, oils, or other products. Dispensaries will ensure you do not exceed these amounts.
If you’re an out-of-state visiting patient with a Kentucky temporary card, your limit is a 10-day supply (about 37.5 g of flower, 9.5 g of concentrate, or 1,300 mg of THC in products) per purchase period. Caregivers may purchase a 30-day supply for each patient under their care. Ointments, soaps, lotions, and other topical agents do not count toward the 30-day or 10-day supply limits.
No. State and local sales tax don't apply to medical cannabis in Kentucky, so the price you see on the shelf is the total you'll pay at checkout.
The Post accepts a variety of payment types at checkout, including credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also have an on-site ATM if you need it.
Our shelves hold a full range of state-approved medical cannabis products, including cannabis flower, edibles, oils, tinctures, vape cartridges, and concentrates, all tested and properly packaged. Keep Kentucky’s regulations in mind: flower is available for vaporization use only. It will be labeled “not for smoking” because smoking cannabis is not allowed under state law. Edibles, tinctures, and oils provide smoke-free consumption options, and vape products are available (but only to cardholders 18 or older per Kentucky law). Our knowledgeable consultants will explain each category and help you find what fits your needs.
State law restricts use to private property, generally a patient's own home. Public use isn't permitted anywhere, including dispensary grounds, so plan to wait until you're home before using your product.
Not yet. The Post doesn't currently offer delivery, but you can place an order online for express in-store pickup to save time when you arrive.
