Dispensary Near Muhlenberg County, KY

Monday–Sunday: 10 AM–6 PM

Patients across western Kentucky have found their way to The Post, a licensed medical cannabis retailer that's earned a reputation as a dispensary near Muhlenberg County that’s well worth the drive. Staff who genuinely know the products take time to talk through dosing or product differences instead of rushing you out the door, and self-service kiosks keep the checkout line short once you're ready. Flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates rotate through the shelves at everyday low prices, with each purchase adding loyalty rewards that make the next trip to Beaver Dam even more worthwhile.

Small-Town Roots Welcome You Home

Before it became The Post, this building served as Beaver Dam's U.S. post office for decades, opening under President Kennedy's administration. That civic history still shapes the atmosphere today, with the goal of making people feel looked after rather than processed. Patients who choose The Post as their go-to dispensary near Muhlenberg County often mention how refreshing that feeling is when it comes to a cannabis retailer.

Conversations here don't feel rushed. Our team walks through product options, dosing questions, and the medical card process at whatever pace suits you, and once you're ready to check out, self-service kiosks make that part quick without cutting the personal touch short.

Muhlenberg County dispensary shoppers keep coming back because the experience holds steady visit after visit. Loyalty points accumulate over time, and the welcome never feels like a formality.

What The Post Carries

Selection is another big part of what keeps patients coming back. Flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates fill our shelves in a rotation broad enough to cover most any preference or need. Darkhorse has built a following among flower shoppers, and Alchemy holds a similar spot for those who prefer vapes, though our team is always glad to point out options worth trying if you're interested in something new.

Everything we carry comes from licensed Kentucky cultivators and processors, not an in-house grow, and every product clears lab testing before it reaches the shelf. That standard is part of what makes The Post a Muhlenberg County dispensary destination people trust, since knowing exactly what's in your product matters as much as the product itself.

Paying for it all stays simple. We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and an on-site ATM is available for anyone who needs it before checkout.

Muhlenberg County has produced more than its share of musical legends, and it pairs that heritage with lakes, parks, and small-town spots worth checking out before or after a visit to The Post. Here are a few local favorites worth adding to your list.

Lake Malone State Park

This 338-acre park sits on the shore of a nearly 800-acre reservoir framed by 50-foot sandstone cliffs and thick hardwood forest. Hiking trails wind along Lake Malone’s shoreline, and the water itself draws anglers after largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish.

Brizendine Brothers Nature Park

Tucked into Greenville, this 12-acre wooded park centers on a half-mile trail that opens with a chainsaw-carved bear at the trailhead. A man-made brook, three footbridges, and a quiet meadow give the walk a peaceful, unhurried feel from start to finish.

Muhlenberg Music Museum

Housed in a former car dealership in Central City, this museum traces the county's outsized musical legacy, from the Everly Brothers to Merle Travis and John Prine. A working 1950s-style jukebox and a wall map marking visitors from all 50 states and more than 20 countries round out the collection.

62 East

This American restaurant in Central City has built a loyal following on southern comfort food and a staff that learns regulars' names fast. It's the kind of low-key spot where breakfast and easy conversation go hand in hand.

Felix E. Martin Jr. Hall

Located in Greenville, this 782-seat theater hosts touring productions, concerts, and community performances year-round. The hall exists thanks to a major gift from the Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation, a local philanthropic organization with deep ties to the county.

Sip & Spin

Part coffee shop and part record store, this Greenville spot pairs specialty drinks like white chocolate and buttered rum lattes with a browsable collection of vinyl. It's an easy place to slow down, grab a warm drink, and flip through albums for a while.

Registered patients can purchase and possess up to a 30-day supply of medical cannabis at a time. By law, a 30-day supply is defined as up to 112 grams of flower (about 4 ounces), 28 grams of concentrate, or 3,900 mg of THC in edibles, oils, or other products. Dispensaries will ensure you do not exceed these amounts.

If you’re an out-of-state visiting patient with a Kentucky temporary card, your limit is a 10-day supply (about 37.5 g of flower, 9.5 g of concentrate, or 1,300 mg of THC in products) per purchase period. Caregivers may purchase a 30-day supply for each patient under their care. Ointments, soaps, lotions, and other topical agents do not count towards the 30-day or 10-day supply limits.

No. State and local sales tax don't apply to medical cannabis purchases in Kentucky, so the price on the product label is the final price you pay.

Our inventory spans a full range of state-approved medical cannabis products, including cannabis flower, edibles, oils, tinctures, vape cartridges, and concentrates, all of which are tested and properly packaged. Keep Kentucky’s regulations in mind: flower is available for vaporization use only. It will be labeled “not for smoking” because smoking cannabis is not allowed under state law. Edibles, tinctures, and oils provide smoke-free consumption options, and vape products are available (but only to cardholders 18 or older per Kentucky law). Our knowledgeable consultants are happy to walk you through each category and help you find what fits your needs.

Kentucky law restricts use to private property, generally a patient's own home. Public consumption isn't allowed anywhere in the state, including dispensary grounds, so plan to wait until you're home before using your medicine.
